Non-use of telemedicine: A scoping review

Many telemedicine interventions fail to be implemented in medical care with non-use and discontinued use by patients being among the major reasons. The aim of this scoping review was provide an overview barriers associated telemedicine. An electronic search conducted Pubmed October 2019 updated November 2020, followed a hand beginning 2021. All potential articles were screened two independent reviewers based on predefined inclusion exclusion criteria. A qualitative content analysis according Mayring carried out. topics ‘intervention’, ‘context use’ ‘user’ chosen as overarching themes. Out 1377 potentially relevant articles, 73 included. User-related mentioned most analysed studies, related intervention. provides basis for overcoming issues
